She leads groundbreaking research in prostate cancer, with a focus on addressing health disparities in clinical trials. Mack Roach III, MD - Radiation Treatments and Side Effects

Dr. Roach is a Professor of Radiation Oncology and Urology at the University of California, San Francisco, and is widely recognized as a leading authority on localized prostate cancer treatment. His research focuses on the use of advanced radiation therapies, such as image-guided IMRT and Brachytherapy, to optimize treatment outcomes while minimizing side effects. Dr. Margolis is a Professor of Radiology specializing in Abdominal Imaging and leads clinical efforts in using prostate MRI for cancer detection, treatment planning, and follow-up, contributing to numerous publications demonstrating its effectiveness. Dr. Margolis is a member of the American College of Radiology’s Prostate Imaging Reporting and Data Systems steering committee and has lectured at prestigious conferences worldwide. Dr. Laurence Klotz is a Professor of Surgery at the University of Toronto and holds the Sunnybrook Chair of Prostate Cancer Research. He is the Founder and Chairman of the Canadian Urology Research Consortium and the Chair of the Global GU Oncology Group. With over 350 publications and several books, Dr. Klotz is a widely respected uro-oncologist whose main research focus is prostate cancer. Dr. Mark C. Scholz, MD, is a double board-certified medical oncologist and the executive director of the Prostate Cancer Research Institute (PCRI). He also serves as the medical director of Prostate Oncology Specialists Inc. in Marina del Rey, CA, a practice dedicated exclusively to prostate cancer. 

He is the co-author of Invasion of the Prostate Snatchers and the author of The Key to Prostate Cancer. As co-founder of PCRI, he is involved in groundbreaking research and clinical trials focused on improving prostate cancer treatment and patient outcomes. Przemyslaw Twardowski, MD - Hormone Treatments

Przemyslaw Twardowski is a board-certified medical oncologist, who has vast experience in the management of genitourinary malignancies including prostate, bladder, kidney and testicular cancers.

Over the last 20 years he was a principal investigator and contributor to multiple clinical trials that expanded treatment options for patients with cancers of the genitourinary tract. Dr. Twardowski is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and was selected as one of America’s Top Doctors multiple times.

He has published more than 100 scientific articles, abstracts and book chapters and he lectures nationally and internationally. Read More

Tanya Dorff, MD - Clinical Trials

Tanya Barauskas Dorff, M.D., is a professor in the  Department of Medical Oncology & Therapeutics Research and serves as division chief of the Genitourinary Disease Program at City of Hope. She is an internationally recognized leader in prostate cancer, and is renowned for her work in other genitourinary tumor types, including kidney, bladder and penile cancer.

Dr. Dorff has assumed control of one of the largest clinical trial portfolios in genitourinary cancers, and treats patients with all types of genitourinary cancers, including testicular and penile cancer. Read More

Henry Yampolsky, MD - Radiation Therapy

Henry Yampolsky, M.D., is one of only a few Russian-speaking radiation oncologists in the United States. He grew up in the former Soviet Union where he studied computer science at one of the most prestigious universities in Moscow. After immigrating to the United States in 1992, Dr. Yampolsky graduated from the University of California Los Angeles with a B.S. in Biochemistry. He received his M.D. degree from the University of Southern California.
 
While at USC, Dr. Yampolsky acquired broad clinical expertise in the treatment of cancer, as well as extensive experience with intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) and stereotactic radiotherapy. Read More

Richard Lam, MD - Advanced Treatments (Chemo, Pluvicto, and More)

Dr. Lam has written numerous articles based on his research. He is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology. Dr. Lam continues to promote prostate cancer awareness and education by giving lectures at various medical conferences and prostate support groups throughout the country. He is particularly interested in utilizing state-of-the-art therapeutics for advanced prostate cancer.

Dr. Lam received his undergraduate degree in biology, magna cum laude, at UCLA. He then went on to earn his medical degree at UCLA School of Medicine before completing his residency training in the specialty of internal medicine at UCLA Center of Health Sciences. He completed his oncology and hematology fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Read More
